Sylvia is a professionally trained audiobook narrator who has worked extensively as a theater educator, director, and performer. She also records under the pseudonym Mikaela Del Rey. Sylvia’s immersive and versatile performance style allow her to work in many fiction genres, specializing in thrillers, fantasy, romance, comedy, and contemporary fiction. Sylvia has an affinity for character and dialect work and loves to explore nuance and subtext in her performances. Training: Sylvia has trained extensively with Joel Froomkin, completing Acting for Audio 1 and 2. She has also completed dialect training with Joel Froomkin and Holly Renaut. Additionally, Sylvia has trained with Erin Moon and Hillary Huber, and attended many workshops and seminars. Prior to working in audio, Sylvia studied Theater at York University.
